چکیده
Without affecting the integrity or stability of heritage monuments, vibration-based techniques provide useful solutions for acquiring global information about them. By studying dynamic response to suitable excitation sources, it is feasible define mechanical characteristics structures and identify locate defects in their behaviour. Laser Doppler vibrometry (LDV), which enables non-contact measurements vibration velocity moving surfaces using a focused laser beam, highly desirable technique qualitative characterisation damage assessment. LDV simple non-intrusive approach. It permits remote has high degree sensitivity frequency adaptation. In addition, system entirely computer controlled, providing data storage, processing, analysis. been originally researched developed structural modal shape analysis physical prototypes, in-service devices (e.g., machinery components), medical imaging applications, detection relevant small-scale non-destructive testing (NDT), evaluation micro meso-targets fracture mapping composites, objects, etc.). spite several successful applications case bridges thin structures, ambient an integrated form that includes identification, analysis, numerical modelling update employing modern sensor technologies still uncommon. this paper, authors intend explore further possibility combining vibrations OMA combination with sensing order remotely acquire waves travelling historical track actual behaviour such calibrate finite element models.

From Laser Scanning to Finite Element Analysis of Complex Buildings by Using a Semi-Automatic Procedure
In this paper, a new semi-automatic procedure to transform three-dimensional point clouds of complex objects to three-dimensional finite element models is presented and validated. The procedure conceives of the point cloud as a stacking of point sections. The complexity of the clouds is arbitrary, since the procedure is designed for terrestrial laser scanner surveys applied to buildings with ir...
متن کاملFinite element model updating of a truss model using incomplete modal data
This paper presents an application of a two-step finite element model updating methodology to a 3D truss bridge model, with the inertial moment and elastic modulus as variables. First, the sensitivity of the change in modal parameters to variations in the physical parameters were analyzed. Based on these sensitivity analyses, the parameters that can be updated were determined. Next, the optimiz...
متن کاملFinite Element Model Updating of Scale Bridge Model Using Measured Modal Response Data AUTHORS
One of the most promising fields of finite element model updating involves using data obtained from the modal response of a structure to update a finite element model. The University of Central Florida (UCF) has constructed a scale model of a two span bridge. Using an impact hammer and accelerometers mounted on the structure, the first 17 natural frequencies and mode shapes were identified. Usi...

This paper presents an efficient method for updating the structural finite element model. Model updating is performed through minimizing the difference of recorded acceleration of real damaged structure and hypothetical damaged structure, by updating physical parameters in each phase using iterative process of Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm. This algorithm is based on sensitivity analysis and pr...
متن کاملUpdating finite element model using frequency domain decomposition method and bees algorithm
The following study deals with the updating the finite element model of structures using the operational modal analysis. The updating process uses an evolutionary optimization algorithm, namely bees algorithm which applies instinctive behavior of honeybees for finding food sources. To determine the uncertain updated parameters such as geometry and material properties of the structure, local and...
